Godzilla rampaging its way onto iOS in upcoming matching game

At GDC 2014, we got some time with an upcoming Godzilla game that's launching in time for the impending movie. Godzilla Smash 3 is an interesting mix of casual match-3 mechanics and beautifully-rendered 3D graphics. Players match up tiles to execute devastating attacks against humanity's puny defenders, while also keeping health up and building up a power meter which, when full, unleashes an amazing ray from Godzilla's toothy maw. Different-colored tiles represent different strengths of attack. As you progress, you can tweak Godzilla's particular strengths and specialties to suit your playstyle.

Godzilla Smash 3 will be available in the App Store May 16, which is when the flick hits theaters. In the meantime, you can check out more screenshots and information over here.

Reuters: iPhone 6 screen pegged at 4.7-inches, production starting as soon as next month

Rumors of larger iPhones continue to grow with a new report today claiming that displays will go into production starting in May. According to Reuters, Japan Display and LG have both been approached to make the panels with a 4.7-inch likely to be made first.

Following this, a larger, 5.5-inch display is expected to begin production, with the delay down to difficulties with mass producing it at that size. Both sizes are expected to use in-cell touch panel technology which allows for thinner construction.

It isn't the first time we've heard that larger iPhones are on the horizon, and it probably won't be the last. Supply chain rumors are rife, but the truth remains that we won't know for sure until Apple tells us. But would you buy one either at 4.7-inches or 5.5-inches?

Track this Interorbital Cube Satellite from your iPhone and stream John Frusciante’s new album

John Frusciante has a new album, titled Enclosure, which will be available April 8 worldwide. But if you have an iPhone, iPad or Android device, you can get a sneak peak via an ingenious app and a satellite.

Frusciante has loaded a recording of Enclosure into a self-launched satellite, and with the new app you’ll be able to preview the tunes when the satellite is over your location.

You’re not actually streaming from the satellite, of course, but it’s a novel way to use location data.

You can grab the iOS app at the App Store link here.
