Family game night is a staple around this house. ?It is our idea of a great time! ?Sometimes it is video games, but the majority of our family fun comes from good old board games. ?Step into our world for a few minutes with these shots from our latest family game night. ?Why yes there is a picture of me playing twister....
I headed to Walmart to pick up a quick and easy meal solution for family game night. ?Who wants to slave over a stove while everyone else plays games? ?Not me! ?I picked up?Tyson Chicken Nuggets,?Heinz Ketchup, and Ore Ida French Fries. ?Plus a few more groceries and craft supplies can be seen in the shot below. ?If you want to see my entire shopping trip you can head over to my google plus album for all the details.
My kiddos LOVE those Tyson Chicken Nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs. ?It is a bonus for family game night because they also get to play with their food. ?I also swung by the game section to check out the selection while I was shopping. ?Hasbro is always putting out new twists on our favorite classics so I always keep my eyes open.
Alright as promised here is a glimpse into our own family game night. ?Twister was the game of choice and we enjoyed some laughs and all had fun! ?As promised, I put sister in charge of the camera for a game and got y'all a picture of ME playing Twister. ?This is a once in a lifetime picture y'all.....
We also enjoyed a little tournament with the Connect 4 game. ?Quick games like these are perfect for a family tournament to crown an ultimate champ! ?Hubby got ultimate champ tonight but I will be on a mission to reclaim my title.
What is the best part about playing Connect 4 for a rowdy 7 year old boy? ?Yes watching them fall when the round is over.
