It?s hard not to be cynical about Kim Kardashian. ? Actually, I?m completely disgusted?like I always am? that I?m actually writing the name ?Kardashian? after putting Kim and the name ?Kardashian? on the list of things that I hoped never ever to hear about in 2013. ? Yet, I found my eyes rolling ?when I heard (aka read on the cover of those magazines at my grocery check-out line) that she ? the same person who had a 72 day ?marriage? (aka publicity stunt) ?with Kris Humphries (remember him?)? was now claiming and showing off her ?baby bump? (aka ?her latest ?$$$$ venture) ?that she created with Kayne West (who, btw. is actually extremely talented and should know better than this). ? Really Kayne? Really?

In this era of faux celebrities? like Jessica Simpson (Does anyone remember what she?s famous for?)? ?I?ve grown accustomed to the usual reality- show plot devices? fake fights with friends/family/boyfriends, fake public melt-downs, and fake relationship/engagements. ?But I draw the line when you?re involving other people (especially those under the age of 18) ? who either don?t know how hurt they could get (like those under-age Kardashians who are now ?modeling?) ? or those who are truly going to get physically hurt because some publicity or attention-getting behavior is extremely dangerous. ?I?m thinking about Lindsay Lohan here and her version of ??driving? as a contact sport.
But using the conception and birth of a child as a publicity device is just simply obscene. ?Unfortunately, no one is listening to me because if there were, who would give a %%%% about Jessica Simpson? ? As being reported all over the internet/news, the editor-in-chief of a weekly magazine is ?saying that that Kim could make as much as
?3 million dollars for the first images of Kim?s baby and . . .will be able to make money from TV ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Specials, gifts, baby showers and baby parties.?
Keep in mind that Kim made close to $20,000,000 (actually, I thought it was much more) from her ?wedding? to Kris Humphries. (and BTW, she will still likely still be Mrs. Kris Humphries when Baby Mama Kim and Kayne have that baby as those ?entertainment audits divorce proceedings are going slowly because Kris wants to now how much that E Entertainment production Kim? and especially Kris? made from sales of ?the wedding?.

So Kim, I know that you?re the ultimate businesswoman and every aspect of your life? since that ?movie? that you made ? with Ray J (Btw, ?it?s being reported that sales of ?The Tape? are up 80% on the news that Kim is going to be Kayne?s ?Baby Mama?)?has been sold to a news source and made you mucho $$$$$$. ?But we now have an opportunity to look at the adult children of ?high profile and highly public celebrity relationships , and it doesn?t look like life has been too easy for them. ?So I sincerely hope that you will back away from the temptation to publicize every aspect of ?motherhood?? because that would involve putting the camera and publicity machine on an innocent being? your child.

If you think that using ?motherhood ?and your child might be a great season or two in your reality show, ?next time you?re in LA, grab a coffee with Carrie Fisher or Chaz Bono or Cameron Douglas? or any other adult child who was caught in the publicity machine of their celebrity parents . ?Ask them how life is working out for them. ?I?m sure it will be very illuminating for you. ?And ?I?m sure that you?ll learn a great deal.
